Our strategic partner had a client that needed a quick open enrollment solution (technology and communication strategy). The client needed a solution to bridge-the-gap until their full-time system was set up. The client had open enrollment beginning in 14 days and needed the system built and an enrollment team trained. 

Solutions:

Our strategic partner , together with Core Enrollment Solutions, introduced several strategies to make sure the enrollment was a success:

  • Employee Navigator was selected as the system to be used for open enrollment and ongoing management.
  • Trained benefit counselors on the core benefit offering to allow employees access to ask any questions they may have 
  • Set up an online scheduler for employees to select a time and ask questions during open enrollment. 
  • Pre-enrollment communications were distributed to employees through the HR team and step by step instructions on how to enroll in Employee Navigator
  • Carrier files would be pulled and returned to carriers within 72 business hours

Results:

  • 96% of employees completed their benefit elections prior to enrollment period ending
  • Voluntary enrollment generated $15,700 in new revenue for broker partner
  • Completed open enrollment in one weeks time frame
  • Returned completed carrier files ahead of their requested deadlines
